Pay range is $30 - $35/hour, DOE.


Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a Business Office Manager to join our team. This position interacts on a daily basis with patients, hospital staff, and physicians. Our ideal candidate for this position requires strong leadership and business office skills. The Business Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operations of the business office and focus on maximizing cash flow through efficient billing and collection processes while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations. This is a full-time, M-F 8:30 to 5:00, year-round, benefited position.

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum three years Medical Insurance/Healthcare Billing and Collections experience in a medical practice or health system, with a deep understanding of medical billing rules and regulations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or relevant field, preferred
  • Two years management experience
  • Able to successfully work with a team and also high level of comfort working independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening skills. English/Spanish bilingual, is a plus.
  • Able to provide effective, positive leadership through words and actions on a daily basis
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas in easy-to-understand and audience-appropriate language.
  • Able to communicate sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Reliable and timely with work schedule.
